What the work is

Transaction monitoring is the detection layer: scenario and rule design, threshold tuning, above- and below-the-line testing, model validation, data lineage, and the alert operations that sit on top of it. It is where financial crime compliance becomes an engineering and statistics problem as much as a regulatory one.
