What we collect

If you create an account, we store your email address, name, and password credentials (held by our authentication provider, never in plain text). We also store the data your account features create: your saved jobs and your job alert preferences (discipline, location, and frequency).

We collect basic, aggregate analytics about how the site is used — pages viewed and approximate usage patterns — to understand which parts of the board are useful.

Why we collect it

Your email and preferences exist to provide account features: saving roles, signing you back in, and sending the job alerts you asked for. Analytics help us maintain and improve the site. That is the whole list.

We never sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Job listings

Listings on FinCrimeDesk are aggregated from employers' public career sites. When you apply, you follow a link to the employer's own application page. What you submit there is governed by that employer's privacy policy, not this one — we never see your application materials.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage: strictly functional items that keep you signed in, plus basic analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data deletion

You can delete your saved jobs and alerts from your account page at any time. To delete your account and all associated personal data, email us at contact@fincrimedesk.com and we will remove it on request.
