A desk for the financial crime profession
FinCrime Desk is two things. First, the record: every open financial crime compliance role we can verify, worldwide — sanctions, BSA/AML, KYC, fraud, transaction monitoring, financial crime technology, regulatory affairs and the leadership above them. Second, the intelligence layer around that record: what employers pay when they disclose it, which regulators are acting against whom, which platforms and certifications the market is actually asking for, and which employers are adding headcount this month.
It exists because the field lacked a serious dedicated desk. Financial crime work is a profession with its own regulators, its own tooling, its own career ladder and its own hiring cycles — and it was being served by general job boards that could not tell a sanctions analyst from a credit analyst, and by salary sites that guessed. Practitioners deserved a place built by people who understand the difference.
The principle underneath everything here is data trust: primary sources, no fabrication, honest labels. Enforcement data comes from regulators' own publications. Posted pay comes from the employer's own posting. Community pay data is shown separately, only when enough people have contributed to protect them, and always marked as what it is. If a figure would require an estimate, we do not publish it — and where a comparison is imperfect, we say exactly what is being compared.
