The first 250 members of The Desk keep the mark permanently.
Founding member is a permanent mark on the first 250 member accounts, by the date the account was created. It is not points, it carries no ranking weight, and it cannot be bought or claimed.
The mark is awarded by the database, in the order accounts were created. It cannot be bought, claimed, transferred, or requested, and it is never revoked. Staff, employer and test accounts are excluded from the count.
Founding status is a marker of when you arrived, nothing more. It carries no points, no ranking weight, and no moderation privileges — a founding member and a new member stand on exactly the same footing in every thread.
The number on this page is read live from the roster each time it loads. We do not round it, hold spots back, or restart the count.
