Growth Lead, Consumer Fraud Reporting

New

TRM Labs · United States

Build a Safer World.

TRM Labs provides AI-powered intelligence solutions that help public and private sector agencies investigate and disrupt crime. TRM's platforms enable investigators to trace illicit activity, build cases, and construct operating pictures of threat networks. Leading agencies and businesses worldwide rely on TRM to make the world safer and more secure.

TRM Labs is looking for a Growth Lead, Consumer Fraud Reporting to protect and grow Chainabuse — the open consumer fraud reporting platform that is one of TRM's most valuable data assets. This is a sole-owner growth seat: you set the strategy, run the channels, build the partner integrations, write the briefs, ship the content with AI-assisted execution, and report on the metric that matters. The metric is vetted, indexed reports flowing into Chainabuse and TRM BI.

The impact you will have:

  • Own the top of the funnel for Chainabuse. Set the baseline, the quarterly targets, and the channel mix (SEO, content, paid, social, community, email) that lifts vetted report submission volume.
  • Build and operate the partner integrations that route reports from where victims already are: exchange complaint flows, wallet provider scam-detection, victim-support advocacy orgs, and LE referral pipelines. Run partner discovery, scoping, legal review, integration spec, launch, and post-launch reporting yourself.
  • Win scam-related queries on Google and on the AI-search surfaces (Perplexity, ChatGPT Search, Google AI Overviews). Use AI as default first move across content drafting, SEO topic generation, multilingual translation, partner outreach, and analytics summarization.
  • Set and enforce the victim-facing tone-of-voice. The audience is recently scammed and emotionally compromised; quality review across intake forms, emails, social, and community is a non-negotiable part of the role.
  • Operate as a one-person team: brief contractor and AI resources, kill what is not working, double down on what is, and report cleanly to Marketing leadership.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years growth marketing experience, with at least one role scaling a consumer reporting, UGC-data, or community-data product on a measurable baseline.
  • A public-facing portfolio you can point to: pages you grew, integrations you shipped, communities you built, or queries you won.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency. Comfortable using AI tools daily across content, research, outreach, translation, and analytics.
  • Strong SEO and content fluency; comfortable with Search Console, Ahrefs / Semrush, and the emerging GEO discipline (Perplexity, ChatGPT Search, Google AI Overviews citation patterns).
  • Partner integration track record: has run exchange, platform, or advocacy-org integrations end-to-end without a BizDev function.
  • Editorial taste. Demonstrably good at writing copy that supports a recently-scammed audience without being patronizing or alarming.
  • Comfortable operating as a one-person team. Briefs creative, ships fast, owns the metric.
  • Bonus: crypto, financial crime, fraud, or victim-advocacy domain background. Bonus: multilingual reach.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The compensation details listed in this posting reflect the US base salary only.
  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000.
  • Additionally, this role may be eligible to participate in TRM’s equity plan.
  • Please note – we factor in the different costs for geographies outside the United States.
